Swollen, tear filled eye's
a shattered heart
in shaking hands
she bows to her knee's and prays
"Dear Jesus, can you fix it...please??"

I thought that if we were just friends
and never dated
and i never admited to loving him
we could never break up
he'd never break my heart....
i was wrong...about all of it

99 sunsets
99 midnights
99 cups of coffee
99 thousand tears later....

....and i still can't get him out of my head

I want to be happy
and I want everything to feel okay...
but you can only pretend for so long

Sometimes you just need to be held....

....and unfortunatly there is no one to hold you...
