I am a journalist, so I've written piles of articles and short stories..... in Russian. Because I happened to be Russian and lived in Russia for the most of my life. But even there I did not write poems. Much to my surprise, I started writing them in English not even being fluent enough... The "One-Way Journey" one is my second English poem. It has been inspired by the person I love.
