Hi, I'm a single mom who has seen her children go through a lot of pain from divorce and child custody.

I wrote poetry when I was a teenager and have recently discovered the the beauty of this theraputic process once again. It's a beautiful release. I find that by writing down my emotions and expressions, I no longer feel the intense need for others to get where I'm coming from.

I am in the process of writing a book and I need 50 poems from other people who have gone through the similar experience of child custody. The poems I select for my book will focus mostly on the effect divorce and custody has on the children. Please let me know if you have a poem you'd like to submit.
