Why does the thought of loosing you break my heart when you were never even mine to loose?

If love is giving someone the power to destroy you and hoping they won't, then how can i ever trust you again?

I know i can't change the past, but its my choice to change the future.

So i'm back here
i'm so confused and unsure
don't even know my aim
but i will heal
piece by piece
shard by shard
until im semi whole again.

One better then aquaintences, we'll be strangers.
starting things afresh. Knowing nothing. Expecting nothing. With no judgement. with no regret. With out anger, With peace?
