They ask me why I bother,
Why i even care...

I thought i meant something,
I though that i did...

In this life I've lost it all,
lost all that ment anything...

The words they did mean nothing.
The presents were all scrap...

I wiped away your tears,
I cleared away the pain...

I hate to see you suffer,
I do know that you cry...

I'm trying to hold on,
A lil more each day...
