Once Upon A December
Soft powder flurries from the sky...
Cowering in a corner,
So neglected and decrepit...
A poem,
The passage way...
Over and over I
Remember...
A beautiful dreamland,
A peaceful get-away...
Silhouettes of little boats
Float upon pastel colors...
She stands under the shade
Of The Great Willow...
The white finch flutters,
His elegant, pygmy wings...
My fingers pound the board,
Forcing out the words...
Another older poem...
Sweat drizzles down my neck,
Blood oozes from my shoulder...
Rain gently sparkles as it falls from the sky,
Overlapping harmony with its gentle sigh...
