My orchard
Where golden sunlight streams amber through clear...
Starlit dew drops heavy on woven spider nets
And glances at a heavy fire horizon moon...
This isn't how it was supposed to be!
You were meant to be with me...
Blood lines carved into skin
Curves with my frail wrist...
A dove circles the sky,
heart swollen drunk...
Everyone's looking down at me
Excepting what I will never be...
Cut you out of our love photo,
Put it in my Pandora Box...
A flash of fiery eyes from across the room
Between the exotic dancers of the blue moon...
My problem is
I tend to forget...
Faced off the earth and rose from the ashes
I don't know why but I'm lost till the crashes...
Sable hair, raven eyes
Doesn't see her own beauty...
Senses failing in bitter timing
And gold-plated life stopped rhyming...
