New year’s eve has come and gone,
The day I have been awaiting for so long...

Through the years you have stood by me,
Though I never knew what I wanted to be...

Have you ever had a dream come true?
A dream that totally amazed even you...

Anticipation flows through my veins,
To the point of almost causing pain...

There is place of quiet solitude
Where I go to work on my attitude...

I want to call,
But you know that I wont...

Friends will come and friends will go
Some you never really know...

How do you sleep in the night so dark
With demons and terrors just waiting to start...

I watched a Butterfly today,
She seemed to know the right way...

Every thing you ever do,
Will make its way back to you...

Watch the stars
As they shine so bright...
