Independent and alone
Broken and gone
Only remains of a new life live on

The truth is we're both turning away from the truth in front of our face
We don't even acknowledge the fact that we could know what it is
That we could really be friends-
Now that, for us, is an impossible case

Mute life, pause time, rewind death-say goodbye

This world is always dropping shit from the sky
That's what they call the rain in our lives

Sittin at the park in the rain waitin on the sun to shine-story of this life

Call me a crazy stupid fool because I fell in love with you...but don't you see who the real fool is?
In saying what you did it's me you lose...
and just with that you're the crazy idiot who will never again have me by his side-

It's difficult to have hope and still be detached; even more so difficult to survive otherwise.
