that sticks out because it reminds you of a person that you
just can't forget?

only reminds me of you. && I just sat and hid my
face inside my pillow && screamed

So do your heart a favor, sweetie,
just turn around and leave.
It may not be what you think you want,
but it's what you need.

I'm not even going to get mad anymore.
I just have to learn to expect the lowest
out of the people I thought the highest of.

And for the first time in a long time,
I just don't care about us anymore.

There's a difference between letting go
and pretending you've forgotten.

Opening yourself up, even if it means your heart and soul are crushed--- that's what makes you stronger. That's what gives you the power to move on and put the past behind you. To get out there, and get your heart stomped on all over again.
