As sleep pours into me,
And the night hours dawn...
This hatred I feel,
Succumbing to rage...
This hallway, these people,
The sounds they make...
A testament,
Of our love, endless...
I don't laugh or grin or try to smile,
I keep most things inside...
Shimmering tears of happiness,
Flowing from her eyes...
Green land stretching across the view,
Chirping birds, not just a few...
I grow stronger now,
And stronger still...
Love is anger,
Love is pride...
The empty smiles, the wore out grins,
Drowning in the sea of sins...
Undying hate,
Threshold of rage...
Another day, another man of god,
Preaching to my ignorant ears...
