I stand here in this tiny cage
with bars between me and the world...

The night has fallen
a new world has awakened...

The sun is setting on the world,
the day has come to an end...

Running through the night
everything completely dark...

As the tears fall from my golden eyes
and fall through the moonlit night...

The full moon is rising
high above the treetops...

I can't believe your truly real
your so much like a dream...

Gone but not forgotten,
passed on but still alive through us...

Looking blindly around me,
not seeing any of the sights...

Whispers as I walk down the street,
knowing glances thrown my way...

Closing my eyes and breathing deeply,
understanding can come difficultly...

I close my eyes and try to rest,
being here without you again...
