The cruelest and most hurtful things mankind does they always do in the name of love

People become stronger because of the past mistakes, hurts and things that haunt them, facing them and overcoming them is what makes us strong.

Isn't it amazing how an entire town can try to bring you down but it's a friend that can make you feel the cheapest

I spend my nights praying for daylight so I can hide pretending everything's ok again and I spend my days praying for night to fall so I don't have to hide the pain

Looking at the moon as the clock strikes 12,
a tear shimmers on my cheek as it falls
as I whisper a quiet goodnight,
say how I love you and I wish you were here,
my nightly ritual
just to feel you're a little closer

You can laugh and joke on the way
and choose not to accept that reality is real
but when you see the graveyard gates standing open
and you feel it pass under your feet
theres no pretending after that

I don't think its so much the future that scares us, more that our past will catch up with us and we'll have to relive them
