Why do i feel like an empty shell if there's still someone in there screaming for a release?

Depression lingers in the mind for a long, long time. I know-- it happened to me. Depression isnt something you can wish away. Its something that only stays. But someday it will leave--only to return.It may leave for a while--but it always comes back
