I am not a "poet". I am going to be a corporate attorney in a few months. I like to write poems, draw and I have written a screenplay. I am here (this website) because I wonder if I have any talent.

I write because it is the only way to regain balance. I have very strong emotions and if I do not draw or write when they are at their peak I feel as if it will burn me from the inside out. There seems to be a lot of talented people here but also poems with high marks that are not very good at all. The mix of the two confuses me...it seems that we all understand how fragile our egos are and don't vote unless it is something good. And we don't say anything bad in a comment. I understand this and I have a sensitive soul too but please do not hold back with mine as much as it will hurt it is the only way I will learn to either be better or walk away. As you will see from my poems I cannot help but push towards greatness at all costs.

I am not a poet but I have a lot to say. Although it has not come across in anything I have written yet I think that I am "awake" and I will one day find a way to write what I can see so clearly to be the truth of our existence.
