Can I be where you are and forget the rest of the world?

In all honesty
It was always there
The fact that you
Would never care

It does not matter
What you say or do
For I will always
Be in love with you

Why would I be looking for a relationship where I give my whole self to some guy just so that he can make excuses as to why we aren't "compatible" and then turn around and crush my heart while his arm is around some other girl.

And I sit here and cry, not just because I miss you, but because I fear things will never be the same as they were.

Blood and tears run together, both show pain, both show agony, little do you know, the tears hurt worse than the scars.

My best friend said "At least he cares enough to tell you to stop hurting yourself" I believe its true...but how come he doesn't care enough to love me?

Its nearly one in the morning...I'm still sitting by the phone because you told me not to leave it. The sad part is, I know you won't call now...but I'm still waiting.

If my life is so wonderful, why am I sitting here alone again, crying to myself and wishing I could die.
