Hey Brown Eyes, I won't spread your name
but hopefully, you'll know I mean you...

I've searched for you over half my life and now...
I tell you I've missed you and hold you close...

Before I start my poem I'd just like to say:
I'm sorry if at times I start to ramble...

I'll never let it show
that you're my kryptonite...

Just because you walk away
the fire doesn't go out...

I handed you my heart
asking nothing in return...

Another day
to fight my way...

You're telling me you're sorry
for all the things you said...

This endless pit of darkness
has swallowed up my soul...

Do you know the truth anymore?
The truth in your lies...

She's sitting in the dark again
staring at the wall...
