Uprooted
torn asunder by forces...
The restless wind beckoned today,
Come, come ride the open road...
I can feel it
ravaging me internally...
Cascading down the avenue of
melting trees and silent skies...
Modern society
is the sea...
And though she tried to hide it,
it was much harder than she had dreamed...
Cloud gray pale shadow
hovering spectral presence...
Sometimes a thousand rays of sunlight
bursts through the gray clouds of rain...
My dreams have faded
day after day leaving only...
The sky is all gray sunlight reflected in my
gray eyes that burn with lost dreams and forlorn...
A yellow ocean
a million dandelions...
Wood and glass sifted
through tangible wind fingers...
