I believe everything happens for a reason.
Peopl are put into your life for a certain amount of time and then leave when the time is right. Hearts are broken so new hearts can be healed. And things fall apart so other things can come together.

Maybe you were put into my life for so long and then left without warning to show me that even though I needed you for so long, I can get through life on my own. Maybe it was all about finding out how strong I really am even alone.
