in such a dark and lonely place...

My life is broken glass
shattered, broken, in a million little pieces...

I lay awake at night
motionless...

I try to stay strong
although i am sad...

You look around
you are afraid...

I made this poem for school about the Holocaust...

Life has a chain
it holds us back...

I "was" happy
until i had to move...

I woke up at 3am
from the dream i had...
