Burning bliss down like a cigarette,
I douse my dreams in sweet regret...
With your eyes pressed upon the earth,
You seek wisdom from the elder stones...
Counting questions in the air,
I find the stepping stones are scattered...
I remember lonely clouds, swimming,
Swimming in the open sky...
Emotion drips off placid skin,
Glazed eyes capture time...
Drums announce the awakening of sense,
Echoes tremble in the rivers flow...
Branches slowly dip into the sky
Casting fearful shadows to the grass...
Sink the needle in the skies,
Stitch your worries to the earth...
I sat next to a lady
With the gaze of a viper...
Under mountains I have crawled,
Into caverns I have hidden...
Wisps of color flirt with may,
Bestowing prismatic crowns to barren hilltops...
The white-caped spirit,
Soaring oh-so-high, far too high...
