If you don't know what you have until its gone, how did you get it in the first place?

How many times do I have to tell you that I love you before you actually get it?

I sit and wait by my phone that never rings
I stand and wait by my door that never opens
I close my eyes and wait for the kiss I'll never get
I cry and wait for the love that you never gave me

Why is it that when the going gets tough, you're the first to bail… but yet, when all the hard times are done, you’re the first one to say that you love me and want me back?

How many times do you have to say "I'm sorry" before you actually get that what I really want to hear is "I love you..."

You always say that you hate to see me cry.. Well then why did you make me cry in the first place?

Now you say you want me back... after i've just gotten over you...

You know how fairy tales end with "happily ever after"?
Well we end with "happily never ever"

Always remember that someone is going through the same thing as youeven though you may feel like the loneliest person on earth
