Styrofoam towers stand
as we walk atop lucid waters...
Now and then I break out in song
coloring somber grays...
Promising sunlight streams joyfully in
bathing my skin in rich compassion...
Cream
candlelight...
Finest maidens fear not
your lovers are riding...
I am an ignorant baby dove
catching myself in lying traps...
Black and white ripples dominate
trickling down my arm like deceitful venom...
Sapphire halos dye vanilla snow
-dispelling thousands of angels...
Who is that singing fairytale
perched upon the doorstep...
I am warming my shivering little toes
lying down next to the fire...
I have grown under your watchful wings
shielded from threatening insecurities...
Standing atop earth
-though rain crashes down...
