The cuts will not make for happy days...

With shaking hands and a tremor in her voice,
She voiced her intense pain...

Harder than not saying goodbye,
Is hearing them whisper your name...

I am the song in your heart,
I am the light that consumes the dark...

I am the daughter,
That day after day...

Rain clouds cover once more,
Only the mind to listen to...

I can't understand, how you chose I shouldn't be,
When you hadn't even gotten to know me...

Pity the place where everyone drowns,
Sadness and tears, the only things found...

Darkness consumes where once eyes glowed,
Sadness becoming the only thing known...

Black birds singing in the middlle of the night,
Possums frolicking in morning light...
