Stunned to demise from news mistaken,
Falling to the floor hearing he was taken...

A tree in the sunrise, standing tall,
Unnoticed by many, unseen by all...

If I was upset for a cause unknown,
And cried for no reason at all...

Fine, a word we hide behind,
When all is not okay...

Feathers strewn across the ground,
Where is his soul? Not to be found...

Minutes leaving, tears falling,
Hopes abandoned, is it any surprise...

Icy tears of forsaken shades,
Grey falling down her face...

Into the shadows I retreat,
Sick with life and pain...

A lilac placed upon her heart,
As she exits her new found world...

Forgive my shattered heart will you?
It never meant to hurt...

Through all the hatred in your eyes,
Through all my boundless pain inside...
