Why is it that when I finally love you back you've moved on?

I keep my phone right next to me when I go to sleep just incase you call, I know that you won't but i guess it's just a habit.

My friends tell me to move on and I want to, but I can't because moving on from something you love is impossible. Maybe no one will understand except me, but I guess it only happens when you are in love.
