Humans have an intriguing habit of learning about life the hard way.

I have no faith in any god. I hold no belief in any god. I believe in myself, and have faith in myself. When I see a god walking the paths I walk, and fighting the fights I strive to win, then I'll consider believing.

A man with one leg may move slower than a man with two, but he still moves; and it may take all his might to get to where he wants to go, but what he loses in energy, he gains in satisfaction.

Teach your children what you have learned in life. As they grow older, they will build upon the knowledge you passed on. If everyone followed this principle, each generation would have a further headstart on success than the last.

For every tree that falls, another will grow in its place. Do not underestimate the next generation.

The best, and most enjoyable way to embark on any journey is to decide on your destination beforehand, and decide the route while travelling.

The inevitable cannot be changed, and is out of our control. Fear of what is out of our hands is like crying over spilled milk - useless, and only hinders you. Death is inevitable.

There's no such thing as 'fate' - control your own future.

Remember: the future has yet to become, and what isn't written cannot be changed, only shaped.
