An Ex-pat Liverpudlian(from Liverpool UK) now living in Thailand with my Thai wife Ooy,my step-daughter Saai and our five dogs. I have a Son and two Grandsons as well as my lovely Daughter who live in England.
I Retired after 23 years in the Royal Navy ending my career as a Chief Petty Officer Artificer Submariner and then spent 18 years as a Siemens Computer Engineer servicing the financial and retail industries.
I have been writing poetry for over 40 years and never had or tried to have my many poems published.
Those I have on this site were chosen at random from my written collection which is considerable.
As you will find when you read my work I am a trier, sadly lacking but I enjoy the art of poetry it is my passion. I love to read all forms, with a bit of a hold on the more modern stuff in particular rap as I can't get my head around the language though recently I have enjoyed some of the newer stuff. I live in hope that one day my poetry will reach the level of Browning or Frost, two of the greatest poets that ever laid pen to paper. In the meantime I will continue perusing my dream.
