I stay up late at night with nothing on my mind, but thoughts of you. My dreams create illusions of you loving me in return. When I awake with that smile a cross my face, the tears remind me that you dont care.

On the corner of my bed, Ill wait. Wait for the sun to rise on a better day. Wait for the smile that has faded away to tears. Wait for him to realize I'm all he's ever needed.

As I looked in the mirror and realized, I'm me. Every little crack, Every chip, Every dent, Every little mistake. I tried so hard to be perfect, but I'm me. And that is good enough.
