I'm a woman, whose spirit is older than average,
I have already learned the way to happiness,
I live a life of pure intentions,
And honest mistakes;
With gritted teeth I clutch dedication stronger than steal,
Because I understand its need,
For I have known both evil and good,
Outside of and within myself,
I try to represent the latter,
But as I said,
My mistakes are honest,
Not without occurrence.
Find it in your heart to forgive,
Forgive trespasses and accept imperfection,
And you'll need no apologies,
For nothing can weigh down a heart so lifted;
and no heart can be lifted higher than it is from within.
