ended as shattered pieces in the land of reality

I'm mad, not at you, but myself because whatever I do, whatever I say, I couldn't make you stay.

Why can't I let go of that little piece of string that I've hold on to for too long, even though I'm only feeling pain and misery. Coz' maybe, just maybe im still hoping, wishing, dreaming that there's still a chance of YOU and ME.
