Lustful eyes scan the night
Thy face fall upon me...
I look into the mirror,
and I hate what it is I see...
I feel backed into corner
a foreigner...
The dinger rings
we start to fight...
You'll buy me a drink,
Maybe two or three...
Suppose I was to ask you,
Who are you...
Every night I lie in bed and pray,
asking God to never let our love fade away...
You know my horrible mistake,
And Jesus died for every sin I am to make...
Everyone tells you
They're the best years of your life...
You are no longer looking at the world through...
And it seems as if the world keeps throwing you...
I hate it how whenever I get around you I suddenly...
It's as if I've temporarily lost my head...
Still scared of letting go,
Please say it isn’t so...
