We are like
A skyscraper...
Maybe animals feel more deeply than we do
high emotional IQ...
Their blood, it stains the sky
Yet you turn a blind eye...
Wearily little sparks of life flutter
Into the great abyss - chasing away...
Weathered and bitter
Incapable of feeling...
While clutching me with icy claws
I fear my fragile heart to pause...
Among the snowflakes
Falling from the sky...
I haven't a clue what to write about
Stuck on this mission to write a sonnet...
Yelling daffodils paraded
Eulogies, soft, serenaded...
You wear your heart on your sleeve all whilsts...
Of sympathy - yet your shriek echos in...
Sleeping here like the dead
Wishing I were alive...
