You make me want to feel alive,
Because honest to god I'm dead inside.

And as I took that final breath... I finally felt alive.

I'm left all alone in this secretive world,
All of the thoughts in my mind are swirled.
I'm out of control spiraling down,
I don't want help so I don't make a sound.

It's dangerous, dark, and deep,
Something I will always keep.
Only one other person knows it; they're dead,
The secret was so awful; they killed themselves instead.

Remember me happy,
Like I always wanted to be.

They'll find me face down on the floor in the fetal position,
Guess I finally found my happy disposition.
I'm not waking up this time,
I'm sorry I left you behind.

The cold air and snow are freezing my blood,
I no longer want to move for fear of feeling again.
I'm terrified that the memories will flood,
I don't want to feel anything except for the pain.

I can't help but think I'm doing something wrong,
So I sit here in confusion trying to stay strong.
The thoughts cut deeply,
So does the knife,
Most of the time I want to end my life.
