He walked through the door
And the room fell silent.
All eyes upon his frame.
Time stood still.
Her heart stopped beating.
All before she knew his name.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change what I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I love you not only for who you are,
But for who I am when I'm with you.
I love you not only for what you have made of yourself,
But for what you are making me.

Don't base your dreams on someone else's expectations. You'll never be happy living someone else's life.

Hey if you guys type a poem and it says you have to put it under slang, just do that and then edit it and change the category. I finally figured that out lol

Love is when you walk clear to other side of the classroom to sharpen your pencil in order to walk by him, and then realizing that your pencil is a mechanical one
*my own. not that great lol*

Cause I've seen rainbows that could take your breath away
The beauty of the setting sun, on any given day
And when it comes to shooting stars I have seen a few
But I've never seen anything as beautiful as you

Never before could I see the point
In continuing this fight.
But now that you are here with me,
For the first time I believe
Everything will be alright.

I want to be able to smile
And find the beauty in the rain.
Dance to our song one last time
Before Heaven calls me away...
