With the day nearly done
And the sky yet cloaked in lead...
I'd soon slumber 'neath stars,
Basking within the ambiance of the moon...
Eternal bliss
Nurtures my dreams with the moon's glow...
The deepest truth of richly roots had the soil...
But late in its welcoming of hastily Spring...
Upon the frosty tops
of snowed dipped mountains tips...
Upon first sight,
It swoons the heart and bewilders the mind...
And in that silken sky I searched,
With sullen eyes, through every star...
Its hard not to hate when its venom
runs its course through one's veins...
Pluck a petal to ease the boredom
or perhaps add to the fair facade...
We know life by its reflection of the past;
Mirrored in deep waters once still but...
They twirl like girls with new found passion,
With sashes of gold to match their long lashes...
Mountains may never slither through slim cracks,
And perhaps the wind's howling will never cease to...
