Shivering I ride along
Behind me lie the failing rays...
Did I see an angel dancing
there beyond the cedar's shadow...
Let us Remember them
The Heroes and Cowards alike...
Cracked ceilings stare at blank damp walls
Patterns of plaster...shrivelled...hanging limp...
Lovely Lady
While you still delay...
Those looking long will see you
in the deeps of burnished gold...
So let us scry and bring to hallowed bloom
auguries on a tainted wind...
My inward eye remembers days now lost to time
The childhood years...
Grey sleek shadow
hard against the snow...
High in Towers dark
where Orb and wand weave...
There is a Stand of Beech
Stark and skeletal...
And there...
painted on Tapestries of darkness...
