I am consciously starting to awake from my world of ignorance only to find that I have been tangled the entire time in a web that has been weaved by my predecessors whom also lived in a world of ignorance.

I'd love to open my heart to the world, but there are people who would love to break it. That doesn't mean we mustn't love, but we must love so wisely.

An equal society is like drafts and an unequal society is like chess. No matter how equal or unequal we make ourselves, if we don’t change the aim of the game, if we don’t change the board, then the outcome remains the same.

Had I not gone to university and not studied politics, I probably would have voted for brexit, too. If you don’t understand a sum, then anyone can give you the answer. And usually, it’s the answer you most want to hear.

Skin colour unites some, nationality unites others, but I find myself sharing more in common with those who possess the ability to love beyond themselves. Virtues mean so much more.

A grey and lugubrious winter day outside. Disconsolation, despondence and grievance within. Yet the birds still sing, the time still ticks and the heart still beats. A requisite of life, to experience certain things, whether we like it or not.
