Politics is finding yourself in a pool full of sharks while trying not to get eaten. That's why I say 'to hell' with their pool! I'm not interested in trying to swim in it anymore. I don't want to swim with sharks, I want to swim with the dolphins.

I'd say the problem with politics is that it's far easier for callous, inhumane, selfish and soulless creatures to make it to the top than it is for caring, humane, loving and selfless beings who are full of soul.

We must be more than philosophers, we must be philosodoers!

My dreams are big. They are scary. They seem impossible. But all dreams are made this way. You either wake up from the dream forgetting what you've dreamed or you go out there and try to make it happen.

The best way to overcome your enemies is to become far more educated than they are. Once you have gained more knowledge, you don't then wish bad fortune or karma on them, you simply educate them.

When extremism pulls one way, it either pulls you along or you grip the rope and pull the other way. I know the left are eager to pull the other way, but sometimes you've got to let go of the rope so they can fall backwards on themselves.

You should always listen but you shouldn't always agree.

Today marks the 49th year since the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. I have always questioned, why do those who believe in good things get killed for their beliefs, whilst those who believe in bad things do all the killing for theirs?

What's most important is not who, what, where or when, but why.

I view politics like I view football. If right wing politics keeps on thrashing you, then you need to either change the manager or the team. As doing the same only wins the other team more cups.
