I'd say the problem with politics is that it's far easier for callous, inhumane, selfish and soulless creatures to make it to the top than it is for caring, humane, loving and selfless beings who are full of soul.

Politics is finding yourself in a pool full of sharks while trying not to get eaten. That's why I say 'to hell' with their pool! I'm not interested in trying to swim in it anymore. I don't want to swim with sharks, I want to swim with the dolphins.

Remember life before you were conceived and born? That is death.

You wouldn't blame a woman for being a victim of rape so why blame a refugee for being a victim of war?

Sometimes, no matter how much it hurts, you've got to turn your back and walk away from certain people so that you can do your own thing. Not because you lack appreciation for them, but because you lacked appreciation for yourself.

Don't waste time chasing people. If people want to walk out of your life, hold the door for them, wish them a nice day and then slam that door behind them. You don't need people who easily give up on you.

You can transcend barriers, make the unquestionable questionable, the unthinkable made thinkable, and the cynic a devout believer. All you have to do is find the will to try when all hope is lost.

A woman's eyes are the windows into her soul, and a man's ears are the doors into her heart.

The greatest thing about philosophy is its ability to untangle any instilled beliefs. I find that philosophy is truly accomplished when all tangled wires have been untangled thus allowing for a tidier and far more coherent rewiring of thought.

We all have the power to restore sovereignty within. But it takes thought to do so.
