If you think you are immune from holding racist views because you have black friends or black family members, some people can befriend kids and have kids in their family yet still be pedophiles.

Imagine if the Nazis won the war. They would be saying “if it wasn’t for us everyone would be speaking English”. Wait a minute...

Hypocrisy is the death of consensus and the birth of disillusionment.

It is important to speak up and protest for justice, but equally important to speak out against injustices. You cannot attain a justice of longevity through the mechanisms of injustice. It only makes the foundations weak.

Some people say that it’s expensive being single, but I think that it’s even more so expensive to the soul to remain in a place where you are unhappy.

Life is a game of choices and even with a bad hand, you can still win if you play your cards right.

Always strive to be the kinder person. In every situation, treat it as a competition. If someone isn’t being that nice to you, keep in mind the competition. Be a winner in kindness.

When we suffer we tend to go one of three ways; we find a way to hurt others, we find a way to hurt ourselves or we find a way to help others. Of such choices, I have only ever found an escape from my own suffering by helping others to escape theirs.

There is a medicine to be found in altruism and an alleviation through kindness.

Boris Johnson says they are levelling up by being “tough on crime” and “carrying out tougher sentences” but that’s dealing with the symptom rather than the cause. Levelling up would be finding out why people are turning to crime in the first place.
