Pulling on coattails
i was maybe of four years...
In this world that seems desolate and bleak
Why won't you help me see, what inspires me...
I discovered it in leaps and bounds,
My paws scoured the earth in anonymous speed...
I'm like a planet on a corkscrew gravitational...
Drifting from one lonesome soul to the next...
Snow falls from the heavens;
Tundra of desolation lies before me...
On the tip of the horizon,
Reading an unreliable map...
The breeze that twisted through
Empty branches of scathed trees...
A forbidden love,
Like the moon and the sun...
I can hear these blackbirds singing in my mind,
As I walk along the darkened sidewalk...
Can you feel the fire that burns,
The flames reaching up high...
I do not think I can fathom the amount
Of words that would form a poem...
When I was young I was invincible.
Falling off the park swing and getting a skinned...
