The phrase "i love you" is easy to utter for those who lie but uneasy for those who meant it. Maybe the reason for it is that, "i love you" are just an empty words until they were proven.

When you're in love, you can't help yourself in doing stupid things, and suddenly thinking why you've done that. But stopping it will just make you more stupid for letting go the things that will make you happy.

A promise is a doubtful lie and a joke is a doubtful truth hence, telling the joke hurts, what more a promise can do.
