Born in 1960 Robert Guissippi Michael Healy. The second youngest of eleven children. The Name Guissippi is after Pope Pius XII, born Eugenio Maria Giuseppe Giovanni Pacelli, he was head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State from 2 March 1939 until his death in 1958. The name on my birth cirtificate is spelt incorrectly because although my parents and the family priest/friend knew the Popes real name, they did not know how to spell it correctly (the priest was only new in the job) so I think they guessed at the spelling and that's what was written down on my birth certigicate. I have five children, 3 sons & 2 daughters. The inspiration I got for writing poems and songs (for my own pleasure) comes from singer/song writers...Neil Diamond, Leonard Cohen, Joan Armatrading and the Beatles, who I grew up listening to since I was fourteen, among other artists. Married, separated, live alone. Love karaoke and became a grandfather for the first time in 2019 to a beautiful granddaughter. Life long Liverpool supporter...please don't hold that against me. My favourite authors are James Herbert, Eric Van Lustbader and James Clavell (I call them, The Three Wise Men). Also Trudi Canavan (a super author) I was involved in community theatre for 23 years and have worked full time as a Assistant Supervisor for the Ballyfermot Theatre Workshops and have written plays and pantomimes which I directed and performed in on stage. I have played the Dame and occasionally other parts every Christmas for the 23 years I was employed untill I was made redundant in 2017. Life is still good. |
Me Granny she was Irish
Me Granddad came from Wales...
Me Granny she was Irish
Me Granddad came from Wales...
The grass and the trees
A top soil and stone...
I read your poems
And they broke my heart...
If you were a Pelican
I would say...
Here I sit upon a bench
Beside the Canal Bank edge...
