The first two weeks of this year have been hell, really testing me emotionally. And now there is a very good chance I might have Covid. I give up.

“Ghost” by Noah Cyrus did not have to hit me quite like this. I do not see myself in the mirror anymore, nor do I think I ever truly have. Just a ghost of the person I thought I could be. But I will find her, even if it takes forever.

Life often takes more than it gives. But it can reward you for your struggles and heartbreak with some of the most beautiful things. Or sometimes it just hurts and there are lessons to be learned.
