It amazes me how much I let my mind wander to the clouds. I build up a friendship or a lover. The crash back to reality is almost unbearable.

I still think of you every time tulips bloom.

I only listen to the songs that break my heart.

Sometimes loneliness can be so crushing. Oh how the absence of something can weigh so heavy on a tired soul.

The state of our society and general lack of respect for the people in our community that continue to experience racially-motivated prejudices and unnecessary police brutality is alarming and unnerving.

My heart goes out to those killed whose murders have not been brought to justice and to the family and loved ones affected. I stand with you.

I wish I saw more worth in my life because a life without a vision or drive is surely a sad one.

Sometimes the dark seems scary. But it’s a place to unload your demons, your fears, your worries without fear of judgement. And sometimes, you just might find someone who’s also trying to find the light.

I’ve always been here. I always will be. No matter the circumstance, the history, the pain. I’ll be there whenever you need me.
