I base my poems from my dreams, personal experiences, spiritual energy and the beautiful world we reside in. When I wrote, "Polly's Creep" the inspiration came from a dream I had experienced when I was 16 years old, back in 1996. A time of tribulation in most peoples lives growing up as a teen. I found myself through music and art (drawing on sketch pads and in books mostly.) I would dream of great beginnings which started later on in life. I always knew self expression was key to enlightenment and success by believing in God and ones self. |
