Can you feel for me? It was my daughter and her...
Torn away from my heart by a man whose passions...
This poem is:
For anyone whose ever felt love with pain...
Going to France was her dream,
But life is never as good as it seems...
All my friends could see
That before you came back to me...
I should have known that it would come down to...
That something was terribly amiss...
The summer had turned to fall,
And it was time to tell her that I was sorry...
I was such a fool.
Stubborn as a mule...
Out the window, I stare
On a train bound for nowhere...
My son, the drummer boy,
Barely thirteen, will march off...
Someone spread the news.
Lisa left me and now I have the blues...
The rainbow with its many hues
Is a prism reflecting the light of day...
The show is just beginning,
And I hope our music will set you free...
