Music pulls tightly at my soul
follows me out as I stroll...
Golden cells of honeycomb
that tastes sweetly on your lips...
They say that love lasts for a moment
then naturally fades away...
My night is dark, no love to give me light
though moonlight glimmers on the distant shore...
This world is filled with hate and war
with greed and ego at the fore...
Little boy on the snow filled street
giving a smile to all you meet...
Crash of sea against the shore
reminds me of times gone by...
I have a new mobility scooter
with big wheels, lights and bag...
As I descend towards a fatal thrall
The landscape plots and twists in my demise...
My mother in law is visiting
Tomorrow just at three...
The bond between child and mother
stronger than most any other...
Blood red is the shadow round your eyes
as you look out on dying skies...
