To my tender Down’s Syndrome daughter
I am the infinite space...
Oh blue immense ocean
witness of abundance...
I don't remember if it was yesterday
or two thousand years ago...
We were once fused into one
Now we meet half way...
Once in a street they had a house
Once they had a family...
My mother’s face
announcing my father’s death...
Rising above experiences
that are timorous...
Of the first of my eight lives
I do not miss...
Some times one falls in love
with one’s own miseries...
Laughing and singing with tears
oh what are these flaming notes...
They are playing the song
that gave us our off-springs...
Daisies with the fragrance of youth
Hardly reach my senses of smell...
